North Chicago is a city in Lake County, Illinois, United States. The population was 35,918 at the 2000 census. North Chicago has the manufacturing headquarters of Abbott Laboratories, EMCO Chemicals and is the location of the Naval Station Great Lakes. In addition, Jelly Belly has a production factory in North Chicago at 1501 Morrow Avenue.
