Riverwoods is a village in Lake County, Illinois, United States. The population was 3,843 at the 2000 census. The corporate headquarters of Discover Card and Wolters Kluwer's Tax, Accounting and Legal division (better known locally as CCH, Inc. or Commerce Clearing House) are located there. Most of the community consists of custom or rustic homes in a forest setting. The Village hosts the annual "Arts in Riverwoods" festival.
